My friend paid for dinner last night which was nice of him. He insisted of getting a bottle of wine - (I'm not a big drinker and would have been happy with water). $60 - sorry, tasted no better than a $10/$20 bottle.
I did pay to get a taxi home when I could have gotten a train and a bus, but it was getting late and I was tired. There are times when I am willing to pay for convenience.
